wish things were simplier

a new year, a new start to many things.

cny's here soon. yet i havent done my bit for springcleaning. there's ALOT that i need to clear and i only have 12hrs left.

Staring at the computer screen every minute is the new-high. or not.

current one is starting to involve me in many new projects suddenly, after a really lousy and boring 3 months spent there. someone told me this meant that they like me enough (err.. well....no comment)

getting along better with the younger bunch of colleagues there, yet things are taking a turn. derrace (freelance art dir) last day was thursday. left work at 9pm, too late for choir so went dinner with minah, kailing, derrace & ed at 211 cafe, a roof terrace cafe above Holland V cold storage. The choice of location made me jump for a sec initially as i definitely wasnt ready to step into HV. worse, we went Breko after that when adeline came over. bad location. bad bad location.

brought the girls to pinkparlour for a girly treat tt day as i had free vouchers. wat a coincidence, i met a colleague there (from Creative but din know her before this). and to add to the fun, a very loud gossipy tai-tai popped by, and started telling everyone at the parlour about her tai-tai life (and her fat son. who tagged along too). and guess wat? she tot i was from SMU! -_-"' is that a compliment or wat.

everyday is a struggle for the past few days, esp yesterday when i was home all day since my company was closed for CNY. working is definitely better, as i would be so busy my thoughts cant wander off too often.

i just wish things were simplier.
